LADDER BACK- Backs of chairs which have a series of horizontal supports, one above
another, resembling the steps of a ladder

LAMINATE - Process of putting thin layers of materials together under pressure and also heat.
 When this is done to wood, and it is then sliced down, decorative graining can result.

LATTICE - Openwork of wood or metal used for decoration, usually a geometric pattern

LITHOGRAPHS - Invented by Bavarian author Aloys Senefelder in 1796,[1][2] lithography is a
method for printing on a smooth surface. It can be used to print text or artwork onto paper or
another suitable material. It can also refer to photolithography, a microfabrication technique
used to make integrated circuits and microelectromechanical systems.

LITTLE NOTHING - Fashion term taken over by interior designers to indicate a severe restraint
in the selection and number of furnishings and accessories.  

LUMINOUS - Walls illuminated by bulbs concealed by panels of a translucent material such as
plastic or glass that is textured or even tinted.
